I absolutely loved my recent stay at The Villa At Little Cape Horn! The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the breathtaking view of the Columbia River. Waking up to the sound of the waves hitting the shore was so relaxing and romantic. The owners, Joan and Richard, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The breakfasts they served were delicious - I especially enjoyed the fluffy scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. The house itself was beautifully decorated, giving off a charming Tuscan vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the terry robes provided were a nice touch. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway, surrounded by stunning scenery. Although there weren't many local restaurants, the ones available offered a satisfactory dining experience. The only downside was the smoke in the air from wildfires, which limited my enjoyment of the outdoor amenities. I highly recommend The Villa At Little Cape Horn for a relaxing and romantic retreat.

Location on the Columbia River: This hotel offers a truly picturesque setting right on the Columbia River, providing guests with stunning views and a sense of tranquility. The private beach adds to the allure of the location. Attention to detail: From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel pays great attention to detail. Every aspect of our stay, from the plush robes to the quality toiletries, was carefully thought out and enhanced our overall experience. Rooms with Jacuzzi: The Corsica Room, where we stayed, featured a private Jacuzzi with full-length windows overlooking the river. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast with a view: Waking up to a delicious breakfast of wild blueberry pancakes and fresh orange juice while enjoying a view of the Columbia River was a highlight of our stay. It provided a serene start to each day.
Although the breakfast was delicious, there was a small oversight regarding dietary restrictions. I mentioned that I am a vegetarian, but received a sausage patty.

The hotel offered complementary breakfast and coffee, which was a plus for someone who did not have much time to grab breakfast before business meetings. The location was ideal, being close to the river with a great view of the water. Another positive aspect was the quality of the bed linens; they were soft and comfortable.
The room was quite small and cramped. Also, the decor was outdated and could use some modern touches.
